Last Season: 2-7
Eisenhower went 2-7 last year, but the Tigers return enough experience to believe they can be more competitive in 2026, especially on defense. Darrin Fisher’s team brings back eight defensive starters and a senior-heavy core, even though it must replace major offensive production at quarterback, running back and wide receiver.
The offense returns linemen Landon Salazar and Drake Brecheisen, plus experienced receivers Braylon Lies, Trenton Erbert and Trenton Taylor. Fisher said the Tigers averaged 31 points per game and rushed for 1,600 yards last year, so the challenge now is finding new playmakers to replace all-state back Brayden Pappas and other graduated standouts.
Defensively, Andre Robinson, Drake Berning and all-conference linebacker Julian Gallegos anchor the front, while Timi Moronfolu, Nate Martens, Ethan McAninch, Dimond Mundy and Leighton Hawkins give Eisenhower five returning starters in the secondary. Strong senior leadership and better depth are listed as strengths, so the Tigers look like a team that could outperform last year’s record if the new offense settles in.
