Brad Trimmell of Andover had a record year last season, after taking fourth place at the state championship meet. This season he’s off to a strong start with 32 match wins so far.
“I have wrestled for 12 years,” Trimmell said. “I wrestle because it helps me grow mentally and physically in a way that I can apply to every part of my life.”
Trimmell’s favorite memory was one he got to celebrate with his teammates.
“The most memorable moment from the season so far was our team winning the tournament on the Galapagos peninsula,” Trimmell said.
With big hopes for the end of season state tournament, Trimmel is looking for some big individual and team wins.
“My goals for the season are to win state as a team and individually,” Trimmell said.
After high school, Trimmell has aspirations to continue his educational career at the next level.
“I am going to Wake Forest University for Biochemistry and molecular biology,” Trimmell said.
