Experience is everything for Campus offensive and defensive lineman Jalen Harper. The senior is a three-year varsity starter for the Colts and has plans to leave the culture of the Campus of the football program better than when he first was introduced to it.
Harper is a Swiss army knife in the trenches for the Colts as he is able to plug and play everywhere he is needed.
“I think my biggest strengths would be my ability to lead and being able to play multiple positions on the offensive line,” Harper said. “Also I’ve played against state championship caliber teams so i know what it takes to get there.”
The senior wants to get to win a state championship of course, but knows that it will take more than just him.
“My personal goals would be to make all state or all league, those are interchangeable,” Harper said. “My team goals would be grow and get better week in and week out and be able to make a run in the playoffs.”
For Harper, the goal has always been to play football at the next level and will be fighting week in and week out to get his first offer.
