Entering her senior year at Haven High School, Karlee Cooprider is ready to make her mark as a dependable force on the team. Playing center/post positions, Cooprider has grown into a steady, physical presence for the Wildcats, and this season she’s focused on elevating her impact even further.
Individually, Cooprider’s goals center around becoming a stronger scorer and continuing to be a reliable, uplifting teammate. She understands the leadership role that comes with being a senior. For the team, the Wildcats have their sights on a win in the Wildcat Classic. In addition, the team wants to bring home a league title and return to the state tournament, a goal that motivates every practice and every possession.
Cooprider spent her summer preparing for exactly that. She worked hard to improve her shooting, attended the Hutchinson Community College camp, and committed herself to summer strength and conditioning, gaining confidence and consistency heading into the season.
Off the court, Cooprider is equally impressive. She plans to attend the University of Kansas to study exercise science with dreams of becoming an occupational therapist, a career path inspired by her interest in helping others.
A multi-sport athlete, Cooprider is a standout competitor in tennis, where she qualified for state in doubles, and she plays first base for Haven’s softball team. She also stays active in school leadership and community-focused organizations, including Rise Up Reno and Kay’s.
With her work ethic, versatility, and commitment to her teammates, Karlee Cooprider is poised to lead Haven through a memorable senior season and leave a lasting legacy on the Wildcats’ program.
