Boys scores

Abilene 69, Holton 48

Berean Academy 55, Augusta 43 — Berean’s Nolan Sweazy scored a game-high 17 points, and Emory Kukula had 14. Augusta’s Brecken Albert and Beckham Stoops both scored 13 points.

Garden Plain 66, Wellington 51

Maize 69, Northwest 39 — Ten Maize players scored in the win, and the Eagles were led by Karson Miles with 14 points, Brayden Myovela 13 and Ty Willits had two threes and 10 points. Marcus Kates scored 10 points for Northwest.

Maize South 72, Eisenhower 45

Moundridge 54, Haven 30 — Easton Shahan scored 18 points and Heath Churchill had 10 in Moundridge’s win. Martin led Haven with 11 points.

Derby 58, Sunrise 44 — Derby shook off a slow start, taking the lead for good at 34-33 on Macayla Askew’s free throws with 2:03 remaining in the third quarter. Sarai Graham followed with a three and then it was all Aysia Fox in the fourth quarter. Fox was 7 of 7 from the field in the fourth, including a three-pointer, as she scored a game-high 25 points with four steals. Askew had 18 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and 11 steals. Karlie Demel and Siaunna Carter each had three steals, and Alex Dinsmore had two blocks.

Flinthills 47, Bluestem 23

Hutchinson Central Christian 52, Hutchinson Trinity 21

Maize 37, Northwest 29 — Heidi Williams scored a game-high 20 points for Maize. Northwest’s Aubrey Navarrete scored a team-high 11.

Maize South 50, Eisenhower 34

Moundridge 56, Haven 25 — Avery Brawner scored 11 and Hadley Idacavage had six assists for Haven.

SE-Saline 46, Hillsboro 25

Wellington 48, Garden Plain 33 — Wellington’s Lyndi Barton scored 8 of her 12 points in the first quarter, while Dru Zeka hit four three-pointers and finished with a game-high 19 points. Cruz Cornejo had two threes and scored 12. Anna Puetz led Garden Plain with 11 points.
