Owen Glamann is entering his senior season at Campus High School with confidence and big goals on his mind. The 12th-grade standout, who plays pitcher and outfield, has his sights set high for his final year.
“I’m going for best pitcher in the state of Kansas this year, so I’m ecstatic about that,” Glamann said. That level of ambition has fueled a demanding offseason routine built around consistency and discipline. He has spent months working out, stretching, and focusing on arm care, while throwing numerous bullpens centered on specific mechanical adjustments and pitch development.
Beyond the physical preparation, Glamann has placed strong emphasis on the mental side of the game. One area he wants to improve is staying mentally locked in regardless of how an outing unfolds. “No matter how good or bad I’m doing, I want to work on my body language,” he said. He has intentionally practiced that mindset during bullpens and scrimmages, understanding that composure on the mound can be just as important as velocity or movement.
His 2025 season numbers reflect his effectiveness. In 34 innings pitched, Glamann posted a 2.447 ERA with 46 strikeouts, allowing just 21 hits and 12 earned runs. Along with striving to be the best pitcher in Kansas, he would love to throw a perfect game, or even a few, and showcase his arm strength by throwing runners out from the outfield.
Glamann is currently committed to Butler Community College on a scholarship. Off the field, he enjoys serving at Reliance Church whenever his busy schedule allows, staying grounded as he pursues excellence on the diamond.
