As he enters his senior year at Eisenhower High School, Romari Howard is preparing for a season filled with high expectations, leadership growth, and unfinished business. Playing power forward, Howard brings strength, athleticism, and a relentless work ethic to the Tigers’ lineup, qualities that have shaped him into a key contributor and a respected teammate.
This season, Howard’s personal goals are centered on leadership and improvement. He wants to be a great leader and teammate, helping develop the teamwork and chemistry needed for Eisenhower to build a strong record and make a push to reach the state tournament. For Howard, success isn’t just about individual stats; it’s about elevating everyone around him.
One thing he’s looking forward to most is the opportunity to face the teams that slipped away last year. Those close losses have fueled his motivation and sharpened his competitive drive.
Howard’s offseason was dedicated to self-improvement. He spent countless hours getting in shape, building strength, improving his defense, and expanding his basketball IQ. That dedication helped him earn one of his proudest accomplishments of being named Second Team All-League last season. An honor that meant a lot to him because it reflected the hard work and growth he put in from the previous year.
Looking ahead, Howard’s future continues on the hardwood. He plans to play college basketball, using the foundation he’s built to climb even higher. Outside of basketball, Howard also competes in tennis.
With his leadership, passion, and determination, Romari Howard is ready to make his senior season one to remember and to help lead the Tigers to the level he knows they can reach.
