The Eagles are currently on a 13-game regular season game win streak as they are one of the hottest teams in the state, led by quarterback Brayden Myovela.

Andover finished the regular season with a big-time win over their rival, the defending state champion, Andover Central Jaguars. Andover won 28-14 to win its first AVCTL league championship since 2013.

Kapaun bounced back from its three-point Week 7 loss to St. James with a big win over City League opponent Wichita Heights, 56-14.

Wichita Northwest also finished 7-1 after a blowout win over Eisenhower 59-27 as the Grizzlies look to make it back to the state championship game for the first time since 2020.

Senior runningback Lane Parthemer led the way with two touches, two touchdowns and 146 yards.
