Brodie Snodgrass is involved in numerous things at Fairfield including football, basketball, powerlifting, tennis, and much more. Staying in shape over the offseason isn’t hard for Snodgrass, as you can find him preparing for multiple sports.
“This summer I’ve been hitting weights, football camps, basketball tournaments and staying active,” Snodgrass said. “I want to improve my offensive reading skills as a quarterback.”
After falling short of the playoffs in the past, Snodgrass is excited to take the field, and is looking forward to checking a few things off his list of goals.
“This year one of my biggest goals as a team is to win a playoff game,” Snodgrass said. “My personal goal is to break 1000 rushing yards and climb to 1200 yards.”
Knowing it’s coming to an end is never any easy task to handle, but Snodgrass has been ready to lead this team with his group of upperclassmen for some time now.
“I’m most excited to finally play with my class as seniors,” Snodgrass said. “I’ve been looking forward to this football season since I started playing the sport.”
Many familiar faces have played together in the past, but now split up, a new rivalry has built over time.
“In middle school, Stafford and Fairfield play with each other, but not in high school,” Snodgrass said. “Last year we thought we would do better against them, so this year I’m hoping for a big win.”
With not much longer to go, a favorite memory for Snodgrass will always be playing the game of football in Fairfield.
“I’ll always remember being at home field, under the spotlights on a Friday night, battling with the guys play after play,” Snodgrass said.
