Boys scores

Andale 56, Augusta 36 — Andale’s Jack Horsch and Hunter Grimes each scored 11 and Sam Harp had 10. Augusta’s Brody Chappell scored 12 and Brody Haskell 10.

Derby 76, Hutchinson 47 — Derby defeats Hutch for the second time in five days. Hutchinson took a 14-6 lead when it all changed for Derby in the final 1:20 of the first period. Gavin Chadwick scored inside, then got a steal and Malakhai Lu-Chantivong scored 14 seconds later. With 28 seconds remaining in the period, Tyler Pontious scored to cap a 6-0 run. Trailing 20-19 midway through the second, Derby went on a 19-4 run for the 38-23 lead. Greg Stiger scored 21 points, hitting going 6 of 6 in the second and third quarters, Pontious had 10 points and seven rebounds and Tobin Snider had seven rebounds. Lamar Govain had 14 points, 10 rebounds and Danny Boone had 10 points.

Hutchinson Central Christian 56, Fairfield 45

Maize 70, Andover Central 31 — Braydon Myovela, Karson Miles and Charlie Oakman each scored 14 in Maize’s win.

Maize South 79, Campus 51

McPherson 74, El Dorado 49

Moundridge 68, Garden Plain 40 — Moundridge’s Jesse Lutz hit five threes in the first half and scored 23 points. Easton Shahan had 10 points.

Remington 41, Wichita Central Christian 31 — Remington’s Sterling Scribner scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half. Xavier Lattimore scored 15 to lead Central Christian.

Wichita Collegiate 82, Liberal 56 — Collegiate’s Kamari Jennings hit six three-pointers and scored 33 points, Sebastian Hines-Turner made four threes and scored 30, and Sebastian Hines-Turner scored 15.

Wichita Heights 76, Wichita North 36 — Tyson Phillips scored 14 of his 21 points in the first quarter, and Jalihn Timmons had 10 points.

Wichita South 58, Wichita Northwest 55 — Northwest trailed South 53-33 lead after the third quarter and scored 22 in the fourth quarter as Da’Marian Garland scored eight of his 18 in the fourth and Martell Taylor scored seven of his 11. But South’s five points — including 3 of 4 free throws — was enough to hold on for the win. South’s Jamison Howard scored 13 and Malick Saunders 12 in the win.
