After an 0-9 season in 2025, the Campus Colts enter 2026 with a much more experienced roster and plenty of optimism. Campus returns 18 starters from a team that started 18 sophomores a year ago, giving coach Cody Peabody’s team its first opportunity to take the field with an upperclass-heavy roster.
“We’re looking to stay healthy and start strong in 2026,” Peabody said.
Peabody enters his third season at Campus and will be assisted by Colby Leeper, Eric McCormack, Wade Spencer, Garrett Cantrell, Darren Robinson, Barrett Roads, Jeremy Love and Keegan Martin.
The Colts return eight offensive starters, led by junior quarterback Tatum Miller, who will make his first start under center. Junior Donovan Simmons provides a receiving target, while junior Miyo Caldwell moves into the backfield after earning Division II All-League honors as a safety. The offensive line features juniors Robert Humphrey and senior Alex West, both of whom are former AVCTL honorable mention selections.
Campus also returns nine defensive starters. Junior linebacker Aiden Weaver earned Division II second-team All-League honors last season, while senior James Williams anchors the linebacking corps. The defensive front includes seniors Benjamin Pietz and junior Jay Rollings, while junior defensive backs D’Anthonni Crider and D’Lante Adkism add experience to the secondary.
