Circle’s Alexis Wall – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Gambino’s Pizza

Circle wrestler Alexis Wall did so much over the summer in preparation for her school season. From workouts to national tournaments, Wall is gearing up for 2026.

“This summer I went to summer scuffle, cowboy rumble and preseason nationals,” Wall said. “I did freestyle season through WTC and I went to a Wyatt Hendrickson camp, and an all-girls camp both hosted through Circle. I went to the combine while also doing summer weights. I’m most excited about the upcoming season because I can’t wait to see all the work I’ve put in this summer pay off.”

Wrestling is an intense sport, so Wall understands she has to keep her composure on that mat, especially during challenging times.

“I want to work on my mental health and find a good balance between confidence and collected,” Wall said. “I worked on that all summer, going to mental toughness Tuesdays in early mornings.”

While Wall has aspirations for her season, she also wants to enjoy the process and take everything one day.

I would love to win state but I try not to look too far ahead and take things one match at a time,” Wall said. “For my team I hope to have a team of people that all just want to fight for each other. I don’t really care about wins or losses – it’s the fight that they give that matters.”
