Boys

Abilene 48, Wellington 43

Andale 64, Circle 46

Derby 52, Lawrence Free State 46 — After trailing 11-9 following the first quarter, the Panthers went on a 21-5 run in the third quarter. But Free State chipped away at the lead and went on a 13-3 run in the fourth quarter to get within 47-46 with 1:58 remaining. Derby scored the final five points, with Jack Ulwelling hitting two free throws to seal the win with four seconds remaining. Ulwelling had a team-high 13 points and was 6 of 6 from the line. Cale Clingan hit his first three three-point attempts — including putting Derby up 47-40 midway through the fourth — and had two blocks, five rebounds. Free State’s Korbin Dowdell scored 13 points and Braden Wilmes had 10 points and six rebounds.

Ell-Saline 69, Bennington 68 — Ell-Saline went on a 14-3 run in the final two minutes to get the win.

Maize 75, Wichita Northwest 64 — Maize was led by Alan Hanna, who scored 18, Ty Willits 17, Alec Grill 11 and Brayden Myovela 14. Northwest was led by River Peters, who made four three-pointers, and had 16 points. Darrian Hammond had 14 points, Liam Calvert 13 and Eli Benning 10.

McPherson 65, Concordia 48 — McPherson’s Gabe Pyle scored 19 points and had six rebounds, six steals, three assists. Jett Pyle scored 16, hitting 10 of 10 from the line, and Ian Razak scored 11.

Moundridge 42, Berean Academy 30 — Bear Moddelmog scored 17 points to lead Moundridge in the win.

Mill Valley 63, Olathe West 48

SM Northwest 81, BV Northwest 50

Washburn Rural 54, Junction City 49

Wichita Heights 63, Wichita Southeast 34 — Chase Robinson scored 21, Jalihn Timmons 13 and Aven Mboule 10 in Heights’ win. Robinson had 16 rebounds, four assists.
