Strategic Account Manager – High School Sports Media (Wichita Area)

VYPE is  a high school sports media company that tells short, human-interest stories about student-athletes and helps local businesses connect with their communities through magazines, websites, and social media.

We’re building up our Kansas market and looking for a few new team members  in the Wichita area who enjoy talking sports, meeting people, and building real relationships. While this is technically a sales role, it doesn’t feel like a traditional sales job. You’re talking about high school sports and local pride — not pushing a product people don’t care about.

What you’ll do

  • Share advertising opportunities across our magazines, websites, and social platforms
  • Spend time out in the community meeting businesses in person
    (expect roughly 30 face-to-face conversations per day)
  • Follow up by phone and email to stay connected and organized
  • Travel across Kansas as we grow into new markets
  • Keep track of conversations and follow-ups so clients feel supported
  • Create simple sales materials and Proof of Performance reports
  • Help answer questions and make sure clients have a great experience
