Taylor Dill, a senior from Maize High School, is ready to finish out her senior soccer season strong. Dill plays forward and outside midfielder for the Eagles and expressed how much this team feels like a family. “I really want to enjoy my last season with this team and winning would make it even better,” she shared, also adding how this is the closest team she has ever seen.
Dill has already made a strong mark on the soccer field, recording nine goals and over fourteen assists last year while earning multiple honors, including All-League Honorable Mention, All-State Honorable Mention, and All-Metro 3rd Team.
This season, Dill wants to have fun with her teammates. Although playing well and scoring goals are important, Dill shared that knowing her identity in Christ is more important. Dill wants to have an impact on every game. For a team goal this season, Dill would like to make it to state again.
To prepare for the season, Dill spent time in the offseason going to the field on her own or with friends. She would practice taking free kicks from random spots, giving her better decision-making skills on whether she would shoot or set up a teammate for a better shot. Dill also participated in club soccer, and her club coach has helped build her confidence in the sport.
In the fall of 2026, Dill plans to attend Friends University to study marketing and business all while continuing her soccer career at the next level.
In addition to soccer, Dill has been involved in powerlifting, flag football, and cheer. She has not only shown success in soccer, but has also placed 3rd at state in powerlifting, her flag football team placed second at state, and was named an All-American.
