Wednesday’s high school basketball state quarterfinals scores and schedule (March 11, 2026)

Class 6A boys

Olathe North 75, Derby 48 — Olathe North’s Cam Love made 12 of 14 shots and had 29 points, seven rebounds. Thiik Deng made 8 of 10 from the field to finish with 20 points, 11 rebounds. Sam Simmons had 13 points, four assists and William Cooper eight rebounds. Derby’s Greg Stiger scored 18, Cale Clingan had 13 points with four threes and Tobin Snider scored 11.

SM South 94, Manhattan 50 — SM South had four players in double-figure scoring — Ben Allen (27 points, 10-of-14 shooting, 7 of 10 from three), Drake Debaun (20 points, 7 of 7, eight rebounds), Connor Kerrigan (18 points, 6 of 6), Kaiden Davis (14 points, four assists). Croix Garcia had five assists, Thomas Burns four. Manhattan’s Vince Doering had 24 points and hit three threes, and Will Carpenter scored 10.

Wichita Heights 57, Maize 56 — After Brayden Myovela gave Maize the one-point lead in the final 20 seconds, Heights’ Jalihn Timmons was fouled and hit both with 7.5 seconds to take the lead. Maize couldn’t get a shot off in the final seconds. Timmons finished with 14 points, six steals, Ah’Jaylyn Walker 12, Tyson Phillips 11 with eight rebounds. Jordan Timmons had six rebounds. Myovela scored a game-high 23 points, hitting 4 of 9 from three, and Cooper Shaw scored 15. Charlie Oaklman had seven rebounds.

Mill Valley 61, BV North 45 — Mill Valley’s Reece Riedel had nine rebounds, 13 points and five assists, and Jack Carpenter and Dylan Everhart scored 10 apiece. Jackhai Carter had four assists. BV North’s Colton Nichols scored 16 and Will Davis 12. Robert Duson had five assists.

Class 5A girls

Andover 52, DeSoto 30 — Andover held DeSoto to three fourth quarter points en route to the win. Bella Bouddhara scored 15 points, Asiah Sullivan had 14 points with three assists. Brynn Eilert and Grier Hand each had six rebounds, and Alysha Pierce had four steals. DeSoto’s Madeline Lies scored 11 and had seven rebounds, and Lilly Chappel had seven rebounds.

Shawnee Heights 61, Basehor-Linwood 47 — Shawnee Heights was led by KK Emmot’s 18 points and six rebounds. Reianna Vega scored 16 points with nine rebounds, and Samantha Baum had 14 points, seven rebounds. Basehor-Linwood’s Alaina Schwisow had 13 points, and Delaney Wittkop had 12 points. Wittkop and Sarah McKnights each had six rebounds.

St. James Academy 40, Maize South 31 — St. James’s Stella Stacks made four threes and scored a team-high 10 points with four steals. Elle Robinson had five assists, four steals. Maize South’s Aliyah Singhateh scored 14, hitting 7 of 11 shots, and also had nine rebounds. Blakely Lowe had eight rebounds.

Hays 49, Kapaun 46 — Hays’ Jenna Schmeidler had 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Zoe Winter had 10 points, six rebounds, Molly Buckles seven rebounds. Kapaun’s Zoey Buckner-Franklin scored 17 with nine rebounds, and Evelyn Romer scored 12. Hope Garner had six rebounds.

Class 4A boys

Atchison 73, McPherson 53 — McPherson went on a 6-0 run over the final two minutes of the first half for a 28-27 lead. But Atchison had an 18-1 run through the midpoint of the third quarter to take a lead it never got close to relinquishing. Jeremiah Thompson scored 29, hitting 12 of 19 from the field, including 3 of 6 from three. Kael Williams had 13 points, Yogi Purdy 12 points with 11 rebounds. McPherson’s Jett Pyle scored 24 and was 4 of 7 from three. Ashton Malm had 10 points, Cole Cooper 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Rock Creek 80, Eudora 67 — Rock Creek had four in double figures — Ethan Tonsor (17 points, 10 rebounds, Logan Klingenberg 16 points, six rebounds, seven assists), Porter Gill (15 points), Gavin Rosa (13 points, six rebounds. Peter Martinie had four assists. Eudora’s Nasiyah Thomas scored 24, hitting three threes, with three steals and three assists. Ryan Osburn scored 14 and had seven rebounds, and Cash Schneider had 11 points, seven rebounds.

Baldwin 50, Pratt 48 — Baldwin’s Leo Schoenberger scored a game-high 23 points, Cooper Carr scored 17. Pratt’s Caleb Strong had 13 points and 10 rebounds, Hudson Titus 11 points.

Hugoton 56, Andale 55

Class 3A girls

Halstead 38, Marysville 31 — Halstead’s Piper Schroeder scored 17 points, and Addison WIlls had six rebounds, three steals. Marysville’s Kacy Roesch had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and Aubrey Dressman had 10 rebounds, four assists.

Silver Lake 54, Hesston 45 — Silver Lake was led by Kailyn Hanni’s 29 points and six steals. Hesston’s Jacy Proctor scored 15 and had seven rebounds, and TEssa Martin scored 12.

Holcomb 45, Ellsworth 32

Class 2A boys

Pittsburg Colgan 54, Wichita Classical 47 — Colgan had four in double figures — Jayden Brown, Brady Crossland and Will Schremmer each with 12 points and Brady Bettega with 10. Brown had six rebounds, Crossland four steals. Classical’s Graham Yost scored 16 and Mack Dolloff 10.

St. Marys 60, Thomas More Prep 44 — St. Marys was led by Benjamin Devader, who scored 30 points, hitting 6 of 15 from three. Louis Archer had 14 rebounds. Thomas More Prep’s Jacob Selb had 11 rebounds.

Berean Academy 55, Rossville 38 — Rossville’s Jakoby McDonnell scored a team-high 14 points, Cameron Miller had 10 points, seven rebounds. Berean Academy had two in double digits — Wyatt Friesen (20 points, Emory Kukula (16 points).

Sterling 77, Douglass 29 — Sterling’s Boston Ekart scored 20 points and had eight rebounds, three blocks, Zane Farney 10 points, three steals, and Blake Smith 12 points. Jacob Lewis had nine rebounds, Cameron Morris eight.

Class 1A-I girls

Centralia 53, Quinter 39 — Centralia’s Hayden Kramer scored 17, Josie Haverkamp had 13 points, seven rebounds, Cora Thompson had 10 rebounds, Keelyn Rempe six assists, six steals and Malayna Becker scored 16 with six rebounds.

Pretty Prairie 39, Hodgeman County 35 — Pretty Prairie’s Lauren Detter and Ava Goering each scored six points, and Kayleigh Vogl had 13 rebounds. Goering had six rebounds. Hodgeman County’s Kylee Reece scored 12 with seven rebounds, and Ashlynn Beil had 11 steals, Mallorie Ruff five steals and Aidan Lonnberg nine rebounds.

Little River 57, Central Plains 27 — Little River had three in double figures — Havana Olander (17 points), Arika Feldman (14 points, six rebounds, three threes, four steals), Avery Lafferty (13 points). Saelyn Raleigh had four steals. Central Plains’ leading rebounder was Emery Siemsen with six.

Wabaunsee 44, South Gray 32 — Wabaunsee’s Talen Orton scored 16 and had 10 rebounds, and Reese Michaelis scored 10. South Gray’s Kyndal Stapleton had 10 points.

Class 1A-II girls

Hutchinson Central Christian 39, Wallace County 28 — Central Christian’s Reese Swanson scored 11 with 10 rebounds, Jessa Loesew had seven rebounds. Wallace County’s Jersi Bensch scored 10 and had 10 rebounds. Mackenzie Woolfe had 10 rebounds.

Bucklin 55, Dighton 35

Hanover 71, Marais des Cygnes 61 — Hanover’s Einslee Stallbaumer scored 16 points with five rebounds and four steals, and Drew Bruna had 18 points, six rebounds, three steals. Marais des Cygne’s Akyra Traver scored a game-high 34 points, hitting 12 of 18 shots, including 5 of 8 from three. She also had eight rebounds, four assists and 14 steals. Colbie Cormode had eight rebounds.

Linn 60, Argonia 43 — Sophia HIltgen led Linn with 24 points, hitting 9 of 11 shots, including 5 of 7 from three. Gretchen Bott and Geni Turk each scored 10. Turk had six rebounds, four assists. Argonia’s Bailey Haines had 14 points, Victoria Morrison 13 points, three threes and seven rebounds. Autumn Coleman hda five assists.
