As he enters his senior year at Wichita North High School, wide receiver and kick returner Eli Judson is locked in on making this season his best yet. After an impressive junior campaign that earned him Honorable Mention All-City as both a wide receiver and kick returner, and All-State Honorable Mention as a kick returner. Judson is setting the bar even higher.

“I’m hoping to have a lot more receiving yards this year and hopefully several touchdowns,” Judson shared with Vype Magazine. “Another goal is to make First or Second Team All-City as a wide receiver or kick returner.” Judson was second in Kansas in return yards last season and ranked 42nd nationally, proving to be one of the state’s most electric playmakers.

One game circled on his calendar is the matchup against Wichita South. “That was my best game last year, and I’m really looking forward to playing them again,” Judson said.

With a new playbook installed during the offseason, Judson is excited for fresh opportunities. “As a team, I’m hoping all the hard work that we’ve put in during the summer will pay off during the season.” The team is excited to run new plays and see what their hard work will do on the field.

Off the field, Judson has his eyes on the future. He plans to apply to Wichita State University and the University of Kansas, hoping to major in Business with a minor in Sports Management. In addition to football, he’s a three-sport athlete, also competing in basketball and track for Wichita North.

With experience, determination, and big goals in sight, Eli Judson is ready to make his final high school football season one to remember.
