Wichita North High School senior Noe Alvarado is a true example of a student-athlete dedicated to excellence in every area of life. A versatile force on the football field, Alvarado plays linebacker, quarterback, and now running back as he enters his final season with the Redhawks.

“My personal goal this season is to reach 75 tackles on defense,” Alvarado said. “As a team, we’re aiming to go .500 on the season.” Alvarado is excited for new challenges this year, particularly stepping into a new role as running back. “I’m really looking forward to working with our new offense and playing my new position as running back.”

While his impact on the field is significant, Alvarado’s ambitions reach far beyond football. After graduation, he plans to attend Kansas State University to study biomedical engineering, with the goal of launching a career in that field.

Balancing academics and athletics is nothing new for Alvarado. In addition to football, he competes in baseball during the spring season and wrestling over the winter months, and he is actively involved in both the engineering and biomed programs at school. Alvarado is also a member of five different clubs at the school and has completed over 10 Advanced Placement courses. An achievement Alvarado takes great pride in.

Outside of school, Alvarado is also growing a successful landscaping business, showing the same dedication and discipline he brings to the field. Whether in sports, academics, or entrepreneurship, Noe Alvarado is leading by example in every aspect of his life.
