Buhler High School’s Logan Turner is gearing up for a big senior season, both on and off the field. As the Crusaders’ starting left tackle, Turner brings strength, leadership, and high expectations into the 2025 football campaign.
“This year, I have a few goals,” Turner told Vype Magazine. “I want to help lead the Crusaders to our first state championship since 2013, and I hope to make the Shrine Bowl and represent Buhler well.” He’s also focused on building a dominant offensive line that can control games and protect the offense. One upcoming game in particular stands out to Turner. Week 8 against McPherson. “They always make it a great game,” he said. “The rivalry runs deep.”
Turner’s offseason has been packed with high-level camps, giving him the chance to sharpen his technique against elite competition. “Practicing against faster defensive linemen helped me improve my pass sets and get quicker off the ball,” he shared. “That was a challenge last year, but I’ve made big strides.”
Despite missing four games last season due to injury, Turner earned All-State Honorable Mention and All-League honors. He also kept a perfect 4.0 GPA during the second semester, showing his commitment to excellence in the classroom as well.
After high school, Turner plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering with hopes of working in motorsports. While football may still be in his future, academics remain a top priority. In addition to football, Turner is also a member of the Buhler Singers, showcasing his well-rounded involvement and school spirit.
