Goddard 49, Wichita North 30
Kapaun 58, Andover 42 — Andover took a 15-13 lead on Brendan Eilert’s three-pointer two minutes into the second quarter, but Kapaun responded with an 11-0 run in which Rocco Keller scored six points and Jude Porter scored five. Kapaun led 26-19 at the half and built a double-digit lead by the midpoint of the third quarter that it wouldn’t lose.
Porter hit his first five shots, including two threes, and finished with a team-high 14 points for Kapaun. Keller scored 13, including eight in the second quarter, and Braylon Jones had a game-high 15 rebounds. Andover’s Walker McClellan had 15 points.
Wichita Collegiate 74, Pratt 59 — Wichita Collegiate had three in double figures — Sebastian Hines-Turner (27) Kamari Jennings (20) and AJ Batiste (10). Caleb Strong scored 26 for Pratt.
Wichita Heights 62, Derby 51 — Derby hit 5 of 9 from three in the second quarter — including three threes by Avant Riley — and took a 32-29 halftime lead. Greg Stiger scored six of his 10 points in the third to help Derby build a 41-35 lead midway through the period. But Heights went on an 18-0 run that included nine points by Jalihn Timmons and six from Tyson Phillips.
Timmons finished with 15 points and nine rebounds, Phillips had 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Jordan Timmons scored 17 points. Riley scored a game-high 19 points and Stiger finished with 12.
Wichita Southeast 55, Eisenhower 54 — Southeast was led by Treg Hardeman’s 14 and Ian Mboye had 12. Eisenhower’s Cooper Rohr scored 15 and Turner Trudo had 10.
Girls scores
Derby 53, Bishop Carroll 42 — Carroll took a 12-point third-quarter lead, getting two threes from Peyton Zachman. But Derby went on an 11-0 run with seven points from Macayla Askew to cut the lead to 31-30 with 2:26 to go in the period. With Carroll leading 41-38 midway through the final quarter, Derby went on a 14-0 run with Aysia Fox scoring eight in the span.
Derby was led by Askew’s 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals. Fox had 10 rebounds and scored 11 of her 15 points in the fourth quarter. Karlie Demel and Sarai Graham each had five rebounds. Carroll was led b y Brooke Steven, who scored 15 points and had eight rebounds, including six in the first period. Avery McCorry had 12 points and 11 rebounds, eight in the first half.
Goddard 55, Wichita Northwest 41 — Presley Schmidt scored 21 for Goddard. Aniah Simpson and Tho’Marie Griffin scored 10 apiece for Northwest.
Haven 57, Wichita Collegiate 48 — Avery Brawner scored 23 points and had eight rebounds, and Hadley Idacavage had 13 points, Rilynn Patry 10 rebounds.
Wellington 40, Wamego 36 — Lyndi Barton scored 22 to lead Wellington in this matchup of two top-ranked teams. Kendall Mayer scored 14 for Wamego.
Wichita Heights 53, Eisenhower 39 — A’Niyah Harris scored 17, Aaliyah Waller 13 and Destiny Maze 10 for Heights. Eisenhower’s Mallori Rose scored 17, and Payton Blue had 13 points with three threes.
