Boys

Derby 79, McPherson 49 — Derby had a six-point lead after one, but then outscored McPherson 25-7 in the second quarter. Avant Riley hit five of Derby’s 11 three-pointers and finished with 21 points. Cale Clingan had 16 points, three blocks, nine rebounds, Greg Stiger had 10 points and Riley had four steals.

Moundridge 75, Lyons 34 — Moundridge’s Shahan scored 24, hitting six threes, Lutz scored 10 and Schmidt 10. Tegan scored 21 for Lyons.

Circle 56, Labette County 23 — Willow Oliver scored 15 points for Circle.

Derby 85, McPherson 31 — Derby scored 34 second-quarter points and was led by four players in double figures — Aysia Fox was 8 of 8 from the floor for 18 points, Macayla Askew scored 20 and had seven rebounds, Siaunna Carter scored 15, Maya Harris 12. Askew had six steals, and Fox and Harris each had four. Alvord led McPherson with 10.
